From the testing dog leg opening hole through to the breathtaking back 9, which have been acknowledged as the "equal to any in the world", Connemara is an enduring monument to its designer Eddie Hackett.

Hackett graciously acknowledged that the rugged landscape of Connemara contributed greatly to the uniqueness of the design. His deft ability to enhance what nature presented him with results in a dramatic championship course, ready made to tempt those who savour beauty - and a beast!

The unveiling in the year 2000 of our new additional 9 holes hugging the sea shore adds a further dimension to the exhilarating Connemara golfing experience.
