Old Head is dramatic Connemara is beautiful
My husband and I played Connemara and both throughly enjoyed the course. While it is not as long as some courses, was a very playable course and just an overall great walk. Little tedious getting there, but well worth the effort.

Incredible golf
Incredible course a must play - go out of your way if you must to play here. And make it special request caddies Derek and Billy. They will make it especially enjoyable and share their local knowledge. As beautiful as any course in the world. The Pebble beach of Ireland.

Top class links golf
I hadn’t played here since 1991 and had an indifferent opinion of the course. Great layout in good condition with magnificent scenery the whole way around. It’s as good as any of the more famous links courses in Ireland and definitely you should try it. Nice clubhouse with good food and friendly staff.

If you ever get the chance to come out to this part of the world to play this golf course, you won’t regret it! Every hole leaves you is awe!

What a golf course
Played here for the first time today. Lovely clubhouse and lunch before heading out. Course was simply spectacular and the views are hard to take in. One of the best days of golf I've experienced. All the staff very friendly too. Could not recommend enough.

Worth the Drive!
The most spectacular course I’ve ever played. Challenging for sure and a bit out of the way to get too, but worth every minute and lost ball!

Love this place!
Great course (weather less so!), friendly staff, super good and drinks in the restaurant and shout out to the team in the pro shop. My GF is a chowder expert and raves about this one.

Played in August '23 on a cloudy but windless (mostly) day. I have played many of the well known Irish links and Connemara rates right up there! I will definitely be back.

A must play in a must area to visit!Played on a beautiful May afternoon with very few others on the course. Dominic and the staff were very welcoming and the course was outstanding- a different links experience from others in Ireland because of the rocky terrain. You have to go to the Connemara region if you visit the west of Ireland and if you are a golfer, you need to include a round at this great links course.

Outstanding golf experience
Just had three great days in Connemara. End of October and we got about 30 mins of rain. Wind is a challenge but thats the fun of playing great links courses. Course in great condition. Greens fantastic. Saw a pine marten chasing a rabbit on the sixth. Fabulous views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Huge skies where you can see the weather roll in off the Atlantic. Great fun to play.
